Templar Training

Switch 1197 has established a community partnership with Templar Training, who are a registered training organisation (RTO#31794) providing a range of innovative training programs to suit everyone.  As part of their Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media), Switch 1197 offers community radio positions to training participants to assist in their learning and development in required electives.

Young Kickstarters

Switch 1197 has established a community partnership with Young Kickstarters, who are a non-profit association kickstarting funding platforms for creative projects in the fields of music, film, art, design and other creative industries for people aged 16 to 25.  Projects are big and small, serious and whimsical, traditional and experimental.  They're inspiring, entertaining and unbelievably diverse.  Added benefits include project support, networking, professional development and promotional opportunities.

Less Than Strength (LTS)

Switch 1197 has established a community partnership with Less Than Strength (LTS), a non-profit movement dedicated to finding help for people who are struggling with anxiety and depression and providing support to those in need when a loved one leaves you for no reason.  Through public support, we can help reduce the rate of suicides, locally and globally, by raising funds for prevention and bringing light to those in the dark. Education about suicide is one of the most important steps in preventing it.
